Heart Forward LA promotes bold system change and advances radical hospitality along with the guiding principles that characterize the global best practice based in Trieste, Italy, including social recovery, right to a purposeful life, system accountability and whole person care. Radical Hospitality – accoglienza – translates to a warm and welcoming posture of hospitality. Living this concept means that every human interaction embraces the following: 1.) We see you, 2.) We hear you, 3.) You are safe here, 4.) Your voice matters.
Sharing Radical Hospitality
Your support advances Radical Hospitality in two important ways. First, we rely on our donors to support our efforts to build community and purpose within supportive housing, board & care homes, and LA County jails. Second, private donations make possible the Heart Forward Conversations from the Heart podcast in exposing the brokenness of the American mental health system and interviewing experts in the on-going topic and work of transformation.
